Basil in the air

There is currently sitting on the window sill in the kitchen a jar of olive oil containing roughly 8 sprigs of thyme and three stocks of basil leaves sliced, diced, and spliced to perfection. Oh, and three garlic cloves, crushed.

I’m expecting perfection by tomorrow afternoon when I will give a full oiled message to four Cornish Game Hens shortly before I stuff them, and send them to the ovens.

I only wish I could get a hold of some gooseberries.

  1. That sounds delicious as long as you don’t think about their poor dear mothers who worked so hard to raise them to adulthood…
