A poem upon the death of a friend.

Glory be to Thee, O God, Glory be to Thee.
For Thou dost give and take away.

In Thy plan there is perfection,
In execution, finality.

Harbor not the grudges of our hearts against us, O Lord,
Remember only the shreds of trust found also therein.

Be not cold as the sun rising, oblivious of death,
No, You, O God of Heaven, noticed his passing.

Glory be to Thee, O God, Glory be to Thee.
For Thou hast given and noticed the taking.

  1. Oh, Timo, I’m so sorry. Who have you lost? Love, Mom
