Ataturk

So I was reading up on Ataturk, and thought it was interesting how after his career in Turkish politics, he retired to the US. Seems he was interested in middle management, wanted to be a boss for us, but instead found a love for Baseball and was quite gifted at it. Late in life he became known as the Ottoman Umpire.

K, going to go back to work now.

  1. No comment.

  2. I’m surprised that in your research you failed to discover the anecdote about his mother, that influenced his life forever. When he was just a little tyke, his mother frequently encouraged him by saying, “Atta boy, Turk!” Which quickly became, “Atta Turk!” =)
