rat maze

In order to get a broadband hook up, the customer must have a bank card and a phone number. In order to get a phone number, the customer must have a bank card. In order to get a bank card, the customer should have a phone number and proof of address — a broadband bill, for example.

In other news the hot water got turned off last night. And as the radiator uses hydrothermal technology, my poor little flat never got warm.

Thus, after some tea, and now coffee, I’m off to try and get proof of address and warmth in my legs.

Update: One, universally recognized form of address verification, for students, is an enrolment letter from the University, which shows the address.

Only problem with this plan is that the letter printed at enrolment showed my stateside address, even though I am residing in University owned housing. Thus my plan was to find a way to print an updated copy of this. That is quite easy, the office in which I an have this done is in the main Quadrangle of the University. It is, however, closed until Thursday.
